Apps are a great way to enhance your Facebook experience. They are also an excellent way to advertise your company online. Many Facebook apps require you to fill out a study before they allow you to download and use the app. However, these surveys increase your chances of receiving Spam. MySpace allows you to pick your own descriptive template for your background. Facebook doesn't have any such thing. All you see is the acceptable blue and white background. However, if you want to spice up your page a miniature but still look business-like to all your Facebook friends, try PageRage. With PageRage, you can pick from hundreds of fun backgrounds that you can upload into your Facebook account. Unlike MySpace, these fun backgrounds are only viewable by you in Firefox. Anyone else visiting your Facebook profile or any of your Facebook pages will still see the acceptable blue and white backgrounds. Facebook Docs
While not a change for the bigger Google Docs program, Facebook Docs utilizes elements from Microsoft Office to make it inherent for you to upload and share files and documents between yourself and your Facebook friends. Examples of files you can upload comprise Pdf files, Word documents and Excel spreadsheets. For now, it is in Beta mode. So, when you do decree to upload files and share documents, you will be redirected to a site outside of Facebook.
Rss Grafitti
The Rss Grafitti app allows you to post any valid Rss feed, you can post them to your Facebook account. This includes feeds from hosted blogs or websites, Flickr and Twitter, amongst others. And it only takes a concentrate of minutes to set up.
